Dugong beach resort.

Came ashore at Bartalumba Bay with my yachtie neighbours, who hadnt checked the tides, about $300 later, ie overnight at the resort, the tide is in. Nice but dear! This snap doesnt do the full moon justice, but it is a pleasant spot, a lot of the 7/7 mine workers stay here, bet they arent paying $280 per night!!! Anyway I had a couple of hot showers, two beers & a pizza at Alyangula Recreation Club and ran into an old mate there. Definitely on of the nicer spots along the territory coast and one of the best working environments I've encountered anywhere on the planet.

Amazing find at Bing Bong Station a rare quoll.

While fossicking about the place near where Western Desert Resources are planning to build a haul road and dump facility for their new iron ore mine, I stumbled upon a rare/endangered Quoll carcass. Look at how isolated the location of this habitat is on this map, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quoll I'm at the tiny green dot on the southern end of the Gulf of Carpentaria.
